수원특례시의회, 제주서 '2026년 의정연수' 실시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원특례시의회가 변화하는 의정 환경에 맞춰 의원 및 직원들의 실무 전문성을 높이고 타 지역의 선진 정책 사례를 현장에서 발굴하기 위해 현장 연수에 나섰다.

의회는 지난 24일부터 26일까지 2박 3일간 제주특별자치도 일원에서 시의원과 의회사무국 직원 등이 참여한 2026년 의정연수를 실시했다.

이번 연수에서는 4대 폭력 예방교육 및 청렴교육과 함께 행정사무감사 기법, AI 활용 의정활동 등 실무 중심의 전문 교육이 실시됐다.

또한 서귀포매일올레시장을 찾아 상권 활성화 방안을 점검하고 2026 수원 방문의 해 홍보 활동을 펼쳤으며, 제주광역생활자원회수센터를 방문해 자원순환 정책의 수원시 적용 방안을 다각도로 검토했다.

의정활동에 필요한 전문 지식과 실무 역량을 고취해 행정 감시 및 입법 활동의 실효성을 향상한다. 현장에서 발굴한 우수 정책 사례와 지역 경제·환경 관련 아이디어를 수원시 실정에 맞게 접목함으로써 시민 삶의 질을 높이는 정책 대안을 제시하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
