[Break News Gyeonggi South = Reporter Lee Hyun-jun, Anseong] The Anseong City Council held a meeting with the Anseong City Sports Association and related officials to discuss pending sports issues, including the expansion of infrastructure due to the aging of the comprehensive sports complex, the realistic adjustment of competition participation support fees, and the expansion of the Sports Association's secretariat staff.

The meeting addressed the necessity of forming an operation committee for the establishment of the comprehensive sports complex to attract national-level competitions, the realistic adjustment of the budget to reflect inflation, and measures to secure Sports Association personnel to meet increased administrative demands such as subsidy execution. The Council plans to listen to voices from the field and work with the executive branch to devise practical support measures.

It is expected that improving the activity conditions for athletes and expanding sports infrastructure will contribute to promoting citizens' health and fostering harmony within the local community.
