[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도가 5일 난민 지원 정책의 중장기 추진 방향을 정립하고 지역사회와의 지속 가능한 공존 기반을 모색하기 위해 '제2회 경기도 난민 지원 정책 자문위원회'를 개최했다.

이날 회의에서는 경기도 난민 지원 정책 기본계획(안)의 추진 과제를 다루고, 법무부의 재정착 난민 제도 현황 및 유엔난민기구(UNHCR)의 ‘난민과 함께하는 도시들’ 캠페인 등 국제 협력 방안을 공유했다. 도는 지난해 제정한 관련 조례를 바탕으로 난민과 난민신청자, 인도적 체류자의 안정적 정착을 위한 정책을 추진 중이다.
