평택시, 베트남 다낭시와 계절근로자 도입 실무협의

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시가 농촌 고령화에 따른 인력 부족 문제를 해결하기 위해 우호 교류도시인 베트남 다낭시와 외국인 계절근로자 도입을 위한 실무협의에 착수한다.

시는 오는 8월 6일부터 9일까지 열리는 ‘2026 다낭시 한국-베트남 축제’ 기간에 실무협의 대표단을 파견한다. 대표단은 다낭시 관계 부서와 세부 조건을 조율한 뒤 오는 9월 17일 다낭시 대표단의 평택 방문 시기에 맞춰 업무협약을 최종 체결할 예정이다.

이번 방문 중에는 ‘2026 Meet Korea 컨퍼런스’ 참석 및 아동 미술·한국어 말하기 대회 시상식 등 문화·청소년 교류 행사도 함께 진행된다.

우호 교류도시와의 협력을 농업 및 노동 분야로 확장해 농가 인력난을 실질적으로 해결하고, 양 도시 간 다방면의 지속 가능한 상생 협력 모델을 구축하는 데 기여할 것으로 보인다.
