여주시, 폭염 대비 주요 도로 살수차 집중 운행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주시가 최근 이어지는 폭염에 대응하여 도로 노면 온도를 낮추고 시민 온열질환을 예방하기 위해 관내 주요 간선도로 및 유동인구 밀집 구간을 중심으로 살수차를 운행한다.

시는 폭염특보가 해제될 때까지 노면 온도가 가장 높이 올라가는 오전 11시부터 오후 4시 사이에 7톤 규모의 살수차를 집중 투입한다. 폭염주의보 발효 시 1회, 폭염경보 발효 시 2회 이상으로 운행 횟수를 확대하며, 노면 미끄러짐 방지를 위한 안전운행과 실시간 온도 모니터링도 병행된다.
