평택시의회, 청렴교육 실시 및 7월 정기 의원간담회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시의회가 7일 시의회 간담회장에서 의원과 사무국 직원 등 60여 명을 대상으로 국민권익위원회 청렴연수원 주관 청렴교육을 실시했다.

교육은 반부패 법령 특강, 청탁금지법 및 이해충돌방지법 설명, 공직자 행동강령 안내 등으로 진행됐으며 투명한 의정활동을 다짐하는 청렴 서약식도 함께 열렸다.

이어 오후에는 정기 의원간담회를 개최해 윤리특별위원회 구성안, 하반기 의정연수 추진 사항, 의원연구회 활동 등 자체 안건을 논의했다.

이번 교육과 간담회는 의회 구성원들의 청렴 의식을 높이고 부패 요인을 차단해 의정 신뢰도를 제고하는 효과가 있다.

윤리특별위원회 구성 등 주요 현안에 대한 소통을 강화함으로써 의회 운영의 효율성을 도모할 것으로 기대된다.
