경기도장애인체육회, 경기도어울림체육대회 2026 김포 성황리 폐막

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도장애인체육회가 주최한 제8회 경기도어울림체육대회 2026 김포가 7월 5일 이틀간의 일정을 마치고 막을 내렸다.

김포시 일원에서 열린 이번 대회에는 26개 시·군에서 선수와 임원 등 총 974명이 참가해 보치아, 볼링, 수영, 풋살, 탁구 등 5개 종목에서 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

메달 획득 기준으로 의정부시, 안양시, 용인시가 상위에 올랐으며 수영과 탁구 종목 등에서 총 23명의 다관왕이 배출됐다.

도장애인체육회는 장애인과 비장애인이 스포츠로 하나 되는 어울림 환경 조성을 위한 지속적인 노력을 약속했다.

이번 대회는 장애인과 비장애인 선수가 함께 팀을 이뤄 경기를 치름으로써 사회적 편견을 해소하고 장애인 체육의 저변을 넓히는 효과가 있다.
