이상일 용인특례시장, 당선증 교부식서 여야 협치 및 용인 발전 당부

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장이 5일 열린 제9회 전국동시지방선거 당선증 교부식에서 용인 발전과 시민의 행복을 위해 여야 정당 소속과 관계없이 모두가 힘을 모으자고 당부했다.

5일 용인문화예술원 국제회의실에서 처인·기흥·수지구선거관리위원회 주관으로 각각 열린 당선증 교부식에는 이상일 시장을 비롯해 경기도의회와 용인시의회 의원 당선인들이 참석했다.

당선자 대표로 소감을 발표한 이상일 시장은 우리 모두는 시민의 대리인으로서 용인의 발전과 시민 행복을 위해 노력해야 한다며 소속 정당이 다르더라도 서로 소통하고 합의를 거쳐 멋진 용인을 함께 만들자고 강조했다. 이 시장은 7월 1일부터 임기를 시작하는 민선 9기 경기도의회·용인시의회와 적극 소통하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

이에 앞서 이 시장은 국민의힘 소속 당선인들 및 시청 간부 공무원들과 함께 용인중앙공원 현충탑을 참배하며 본격적인 시정 업무에 복귀했다.
