광주시, 청소년 부문 올해의 한 책 작가 초청 행사 마무리

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 지난 11일과 22일 지역 내 중·고등학교와 연계해 추진한 청소년 부문-올해의 한 책 작가 초청 행사를 마무리했다.

청소년 독서 지원을 위해 올해 새롭게 추진한 이번 사업은 공공도서관과 학교가 협력해 진행했다. 시는 신현중학교와 광주중앙고등학교 등 2개교를 선정해 김민서 작가를 초청하고 학생들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다.

행사는 학생들이 직접 사회를 맡고 국어 수업 및 학교 자율시간과 연계한 사전·사후 독서 활동을 병행해 참여도를 높였다. 행사장에는 신현중 학생들이 작성한 질문지가 전시됐으며 광주중앙고에서는 학생들이 제작한 감사 엽서를 작가에게 전달했다. 김민서 작가는 작품을 소개하고 학생들의 질문에 답하며 청소년기에 필요한 공감과 배려의 가치에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
