경기도, 대마 성분 유래 제품 및 수입 간식류 안전성 검사 결과 발표

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도보건환경연구원이 지난 4월 헴프 유래 제품과 해외 수입 간식류 총 43건을 대상으로 대마 및 마약 성분 함유 여부를 정밀 분석한 결과 전 제품이 국내 식품 안전 기준에 적합한 것으로 확인됐다고 밝혔다.

헴프 유래 제품은 산업용 대마에서 얻은 섬유, 씨앗, 추출물을 원료로 만든 각종 제품을 통틀어 부르는 말이다. 연구원은 수입 식품매장을 통해 유통되는 제품에 대한 소비자 불안을 해소하고 유통 식품의 안전성과 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 온오프라인 유통 경로별 맞춤형 수거검사를 진행했다.

온라인 쇼핑몰에서는 국내 생산되거나 해외 수입을 통해 시중 유통되는 대마씨앗과 대마씨유 15건을 수거했으며 오프라인에서는 어린이와 청소년이 많이 찾는 수입 젤리를 중심으로 해외 간식 전문 판매점과 백화점, 편의점에서 28건을 수거했다. 대마씨앗과 대마씨유는 제조 과정에서 환각성분이 포함된 대마 껍질 부분이 완전히 제거되지 않을 경우 최종제품에 남을 가능성이 있다.

이에 따라 식품위생법에서는 향정신성 물질인 THC와 CBD 함량 기준을 정해 관리하고 있으며 온라인 쇼핑몰에서 수거한 대마 유래 제품 15건은 모두 국내 허용 기준치 이내로 확인됐다.

독일 등 대마 사용 합법 국가에서 제조된 제품이 포함된 수입 젤리 28건에 대해서는 대마 성분 외에도 메트암페타민, 암페타민, 코카인, MDMA, LSD 등 주요 불법 마약류 성분 5종을 추가 분석했으나 검사 결과 모든 제품에서 대마 및 마약 성분이 검출되지 않았다.

이번 정밀 분석 결과는 최근 해외 직구나 수입 식품 소비 증가로 커진 대마 및 마약류 성분 유입에 대한 도민들의 불안감을 해소하고 유통 식품의 안전성을 객관적으로 입증하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
