용인특례시, 3년 연속 ‘경기도 교통분야 평가’ 최우수기관 선정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 경기도의 ‘2025년 교통분야 평가’에서 최우수기관으로 뽑히면서 2023년부터 3년 연속 최우수기관으로 선정됐다.

도는 도내 31개 시군을 인구 규모별로 4개 집단으로 나눠 교통 일반, 교통안전, 택시 행정, 대중교통, 교통정보 등 교통 분야 전반을 평가했다.

평가 결과 시는 인구수에 따라 A그룹(67만 명 이상)에서 최고 득점을 받아 도내 최우수기관으로 선정됐다.

횡단보도를 건너는 교통약자를 위해 보행신호 자동연장시스템을 언동초 등 14곳에 설치하고, 광역 긴급차량 우선 신호를 도입하는 등 첨단교통시스템을 활용한 교통체계가 높은 평가를 받았다.
