이천시, 2025년 개인택시운송사업 5대 신규 면허 발급

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시는 지난 18일 시청 다올실에서 개인택시운송사업 신규 면허증 교부식을 개최하고, 심사를 통해 최종 선정된 5명의 대상자에게 면허증을 전달했다.

이는 지난 8월 경기도의 ‘제5차 택시 총량 고시’에 따른 후속 조치로, 해당 고시는 2025년부터 2029년까지 적용된다. 이천시의 적정 택시 총량은 기존 518대에서 15대 늘어난 533대로 결정되어 이번에 공급된 5대를 포함, 향후 15대의 택시를 연차적으로 공급하여 시민들의 대중교통 이용 편의를 개선해 나갈 방침이다.
