광명시, ‘건강리더 양성과정’ 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 자가관리가 중요한 고혈압·당뇨병 환자들이 스스로 건강한 생활습관을 실천할 수 있도록 ‘건강리더 양성과정’을 운영한다.

이번 교육은 올바른 생활습관을 배우고, 같은 질환을 가진 이웃과 함께 혈압·혈당 관리 계획을 세워 실천하도록 돕는 프로그램이다.

교육을 마친 뒤 건강리더로 선정되면 고혈압·당뇨병 환자모임인 ‘혈압·혈당 똑똑이 모임’을 이끌며 동료 환자들의 건강관리를 지원하게 된다. 교육 과정은 건강한 식사, 스트레스 관리, 저혈당 예방, 합병증 예방, 감정 다루기, 혈압·혈당 조절 전략 등으로 구성되며, 6주 동안 진행된다.

참여 대상은 혈압·혈당 관리에 관심이 있고 건강리더로 활동을 희망하는 고혈압 또는 당뇨병 환자이다.

참여 신청은 교육이 시작된 이후에도 가능하며, 건강리더 양성과정은 내년에도 계속 연중 상시 운영할 예정이다.
