용인특례시, 호주·두바이서 495억 원 수출 상담 성과

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 호주 해외시장개척단 파견과 아랍에미리트 두바이 화장품·미용전 2025(Beautyworld Middle East 2025) 참가 지원 사업을 통해 약 3천491만 달러(약 495억 원) 규모의 수출 상담 성과를 거뒀다.

지난 20일부터 26일까지 호주 시드니와 멜버른에서 열린 해외시장개척단 상담회에는 용인 소재 중소기업 10개 사와 수행기관인 경기도경제과학진흥원 관계자 등이 참가했다.

호주 현지 소비 흐름에 맞춰 상담회에는 가공식품, 생활용품, 친환경 제품 기업이 상담에 임해 총 87건, 374만 달러(약 53억 원) 규모의 상담을 진행했다.

이어 27일부터 29일까지 아랍에미레이트 두바이에서 열린 화장품·미용전에는 용인의 화장품·뷰티 전문기업 4개 사가 참가했다. 참가 기업들은 K-뷰티 인기에 힘입어 136건, 3천117만 달러(약 442억 원) 규모의 수출 상담을 진행했으며, 제품력과 디자인 경쟁력에서도 높은 평가를 받았다.
