안산도시공사, 선부다목적체육관 5개 언어 안내 제공

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산도시공사는 선부다목적체육관을 이용하는 외국인 주민의 편의를 위해 다국어 안내 서비스를 제공하고 있다고 15일 밝혔다.

다국어 안내는 한국어, 영어, 러시아어, 중국어, 베트남어 등 5개 언어로 제공되며, 시설 내 안내판 외에도 QR코드를 활용한 모바일 다국어 안내 서비스가 함께 운영되고 있다.

안내 내용은 시설 운영시간, 이용수칙, 헬스기구 사용법 등 다양한 정보를 포함하고 있으며, 특히 헬스기구 사용법은 영상으로 제공돼 러시아어와 중국어를 사용하는 주민에게 실질적인 도움을 주고 있다.

단원구 선부동에 위치한 선부다목적체육관은 우즈베키스탄 및 카자흐스탄 등 러시아어를 사용하는 외국인 주민이 많이 거주하는 지역으로, 이러한 지역 특성을 반영해 이 같은 서비스를 제공하게 됐다.

지난해 12월 말 기준, 안산시 등록 외국인 수는 약 5만4천 명으로 전체 인구의 약 8%를 차지하며 경기지역에서 외국인 주민 비율이 가장 높은 도시다.

이러한 지역 특성을 고려해 안산도시공사는 올해 4월부터 외국인 주민의 체육활동 접근성과 편의를 높이기 위한 ‘언어장벽 없는 안산’ 다국어 안내 서비스를 추진해 왔다.

안산도시공사는 선부다목적체육관을 시작으로, 현재 운영 중인 공공체육시설 전반에 다국어 안내 서비스를 단계적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

아울러 정기적인 만족도 조사와 의견 수렴을 통해 서비스를 지속해서 보완하고, 추가 언어 지원 및 외국인 커뮤니티 연계를 통한 맞춤형 체육 프로그램 도입도 함께 검토할 예정이다.

임하석 안산도시공사 체육처장은 “공공체육시설은 모든 시민이 차별 없이 이용할 수 있어야 하는 공간”이라며 “앞으로도 외국인 이용객의 목소리에 더욱 귀 기울이며, 체육시설 이용에 있어 정보 접근성과 서비스 만족도를 지속적으로 높여 나가겠다”라고 말했다.
