안산시, 프랑스 파리 동부행정구역과 우호 협력도시 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 지난 14일(현지시간) 프랑스 파리 동부행정구역(Paris Est Marne & Bois)과 공식적인 우호 협력도시 관계를 체결했다고 15일 밝혔다.

파리 동부행정구역 본부에서 열린 이번 협약 체결식에는 이민근 안산시장을 비롯한 안산시 대표단과 파리 동부행정구역 올리비에 카피타니오 의장, 시의회 관계자 등이 참석했다.

이민근 안산시장은 “지난해 줄리앙 베이유 부의장 방문 시 체결한 교류의향서를 기반으로 공식적인 우호협력도시 관계를 수립했다는 데 의미가 있다”며 “앞으로 양 도시는 서로의 장점과 자원을 적극적으로 활용해 상호 발전을 함께 도모해 나갈 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 도시는 교육 문화예술 경제 등 다양한 분야에서 협력사업을 추진할 방침이다. 시는 약 1만 2천여 기업과 국가산업단지를 기반으로 한 혁신 산업 도시이자, 경제자유구역 지정 도시다. 아울러, 친환경 관광자원을 갖춘 국제도시로서 투자유치 및 문화 교류 활성화를 기대하고 있다.
