화성특례시 동탄2동, 제9회 탄요축제 및 2025년 주민총회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시 동탄2동 주민자치회는 오는 18일 솔빛공원 일원에서 ‘동탄2동 제9회 탄요축제’와 ‘2025년 동탄2동 주민총회’를 개최한다.

‘탄요(炭窯)’는 숯을 굽던 가마를 의미하며, 동탄2동에 남아 있는 실제 숯가마 흔적인 ‘탄요지 유적’의 의미를 되살리고 주민이 함께 어우러지는 생활 속 문화축제로 기획되었다. 올해 축제는 ‘숯의 향, 이웃의 빛으로’를 주제로, 주민이 직접 만들고 참여하는 다채로운 프로그램이 준비된다.

행사 당일에는 숯부작 경진대회와 숯부작 체험존, 탄요홍보관, 마을해설사와 함께하는 탄요유적 탐방 등 지역의 역사와 문화를 체험하는 프로그램이 진행된다. 이 외에도 전래놀이마당, 친환경 공예체험, 주민자치 홍보부스, 플리마켓, 푸드트럭 등 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 풍성한 볼거리와 즐길 거리가 마련된다.
