광주시 등 7개 지자체, 중부권 광역급행철도 조기 착공 공동 건의

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시를 비롯한 용인·성남·안성·진천·청주·화성 등 7개 지방자치단체가 중부권 광역급행철도 조기 착공을 한목소리로 촉구했다.

광주시는 14일 청주국제공항 여객청사에서 7개 지방자치단체 단체장과 함께 ‘중부권 광역급행철도 조기 착공 공동 건의문’에 서명했다. 이번 행사는 민자 적격성 조사 통과와 조기 착공 필요성을 알리고 수도권과 충청권을 연결하는 핵심 교통망 구축에 대한 지방자치단체들의 뜻을 모으기 위해 마련됐다.
