성남시 대원공원, 53년 만에 테마공원으로 새롭게 개장

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 원도심에 있는 대원공원 내에 아침 정원, 책 읽는 광장, 유아 숲 놀이터 등 테마가 있는 공원을 조성하여 오는 10월 16일 개장한다.

대원공원은 중원구 중앙동과 하대원동, 성남동, 상대원동 등 4개 동에 접해 있는 79만 1,450㎡ 규모의 산지형 공원으로, 1972년 근린공원으로 결정 고시한 이후 53년 만의 변화다.

시는 이 변화를 위해 2023년 3월부터 2년 6개월간 총사업비 155억 원을 투입하여 대원공원 내 미정비 공원 부지를 중심으로 중앙, 하대원, 성남동 구간을 1~4구간으로 특화했다.
