화성특례시, 순국선열의 날 맞아 독립운동 역사 체험 프로그램 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시가 오는 11월 16일 화성시독립운동기념관에서 화성 지역 순국선열들의 숭고한 희생과 화성시 독립운동사의 가치를 기리기 위한 '순국선열의 날 문화 체험 프로그램'을 운영한다.

순국선열의 날은 매년 11월 17일이며, 대한민국 독립과 국권 회복을 위해 목숨을 바친 독립운동가와 애국지사들을 기리는 국가 기념일이다.

이번 프로그램은 화성시독립운동기념관 제2회 기획전시 주제를 바탕으로 제암리 고주리 학살 사건이라는 역사적 비극을 살펴본 뒤, 화성시 독립운동가의 글귀를 전등 갓에 직접 따라 쓰고 태극기와 무궁화 스티커로 장식하여 자신만의 전등을 완성하는 문화 체험형 교육으로 진행된다.
