광주시, ‘2025년 지방하천 신규 정책 오디션’ 공모 최종 선정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 경기도에서 주관하는 ‘2025년 지방하천 신규 정책 오디션’ 공모에 최종 선정됐다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 공모는 단순한 홍수 예방 중심의 하천 정비에서 벗어나 하천을 중심으로 한 지역 공동체 공간을 조성함으로써 정주 여건을 개선하고 지역 활력을 높이기 위해 경기도가 추진한 사업이다.

시는 퇴촌면 도수리 일원에 위치한 지방하천 우산천에 산책길을 조성하기 위해 공모 사업을 신청했으며 지난 9월 30일 공모 발표를 거쳐 최종 선정됐다. 이에 따라 시는 사업비의 50%에 해당하는 도비 약 4억 원과 포상금 2천만 원을 확보했다.

시는 총 8억 원을 투입, 데크로드 213m 및 야간조명 설치 등을 통해 친수공간을 확충하고 인근 체육시설 및 경안천 생태습지공원과의 접근성을 개선할 계획이다. 사업은 2026년 준공을 목표로 추진된다.
