성남시 원도심 지역난방 공급, 예비타당성조사 신청으로 가시화

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 원도심 지역난방 열공급을 위해 협력해 온 한국지역난방공사가 기획재정부에 예비타당성조사(예타)를 신청했다고 30일 밝혔다.

성남시의 꾸준한 노력 끝에 오랜 숙원사업이었던 원도심 지역난방 공급이 가시화되는 성과를 거두게 된 것이다.

성남 원도심은 그동안 지역난방이 공급되지 않는 지역이었으나, 주민 요구에 따라 한국지역난방공사와 협력해 수정구 수진동 삼부아파트 등 일부 단지와 정비사업 구역부터 단계적으로 지역난방을 도입해 왔다. 하지만 최근 정비사업 확대로 지역난방 수요가 급증하면서 현재의 열원만으로는 추가 공급이 어려운 상황이다.
