성남시의회, 학교폭력 심의 전문성 및 피해자 보호 방안 강화

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시의회 행정교육위원회는 25일, 성남시의회 4층 세미나실에서 ‘학교폭력 심의 전문성 및 피해자 보호 방안 강화’를주제로 정책토론회를 개최했다.

서은경 행정교육위원장이 좌장을 맡아 진행된 토론회에서는 김주현 변호사가‘학교폭력 심의기구 전문성 한계, 학교폭력 심의위원회 구성 및 운영 전문성 강화, 피해자 보호 조치 실효성’등을 주제로 발제를 했다. 이어 김진명 도의원과 성해련 시의원을 비롯한 패널들은 최근 증가하는 성(性) 관련 학폭 문제를 언급하며, 피해자 보호와 위원회의 전문성 강화를 위한 제도적 보완의 필요성을 강조했다.

또한 분당구 보평초등학교 학부모는 실제 피해 사례를 바탕으로 현행 심사 체계의문제점을 지적했으며, 이해준 학교폭력연구소장은 근본적인 해결을 위해서는 위원 대상 정기교육 등 역량 강화가 반드시 병행되어야 한다고 강조했다.
