경과원, ‘프리뷰인서울(PIS) 2025’서 단체관 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도와 경기도경제과학진흥원(경과원)은 지난 20일부터 22일까지 서울 강남 코엑스에서 열린 ‘프리뷰인서울(PIS) 2025’에 경기도 단체관을 운영해 도내 섬유기업의 해외 판로 개척을 지원했다고 24일 밝혔다.

경과원은 글로벌 경기 침체와 내수 부진으로 어려움을 겪는 도내 섬유기업에 새로운 수출 기회를 제공하고 세계 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보하고 지속 가능한 성장 기반을 다질 수 있도록 이번 전시회 참여를 적극 추진했다.

‘프리뷰인서울(PIS)’은 국내 최대 규모의 섬유패션소재 전문 프리미엄 전시회로, 올해로 25회째를 맞았다. 이번 전시회에는 국내외 576여 개 기업이 참가했고, 온·오프라인 참관객은 약 4만4천 명에 달했다.

경기도 단체관에는 도내 섬유기업 16개사가 참여해 고기능성·친환경 원단과 차별화된 제품을 선보이며 다양한 해외 바이어의 주목을 받았다.

㈜일송텍스는 미국 바이어와 상담을 통해 5만 달러 규모의 발주 계약을 추진하는 성과를 올려 글로벌 시장 진출 가능성을 크게 높였다.

경기도와 경과원은 이번 성과를 토대로 경기섬유마케팅센터 운영, 패션디자인 실용화 사업, 역량 강화 프로그램 등을 통해 도내 기업의 글로벌 진출을 지속적으로 지원할 계획이다.
