화성특례시, 한국나노기술원과 첨단반도체산업 육성·지원 업무협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시가 11일 과학기술정보통신부 출연 국가연구기관인 한국나노기술원(KANC)과 ‘첨단반도체산업 육성·지원을 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다.

이날 한국나노기술원에서 열린 협약식에는 정명근 화성특례시장, 이재영 한국나노기술원 이사장 및 박노재 원장 직무대행, 안상교 화성상공회의소 회장, 전병선 화성산업진흥원장, 관내 반도체 관련 기업 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석했다.

이번 업무협약은 시가 지난 6월 개최한 ‘화성시 반도체 주요기업 간담회’ 시 제기된 기업 건의사항 중 하나인 ‘기술·연구개발(R&D) 인프라 부족 및 장비 이용 애로’를 해결하기 위한 후속 조치로 추진됐다.

협약은 기업들이 기술 검증 시 국가 연구기관의 인프라를 활용함으로써 실증 장비 확보 부담을 덜 수 있도록, 시와 한국나노기술원 간 지속적인 협력체계를 구축하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

양 기관은 협약에 따라 ▲화성시 반도체산업 육성 ▲한국나노기술원의 연구인프라 활용 ▲반도체산업 인재 양성을 위한 정보교류 등 다양한 분야에서 상호 협력한다.
