경과원, 소공인 복합지원센터 확대 사업에 성남·화성 최종 선정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도와 경기도경제과학진흥원이 ‘2025년 경기도 소공인 복합지원센터 확대구축사업’의 운영기관으로 성남산업진흥원과 화성상공회의소를 최종 선정하고 협약을 체결했다고 7일 밝혔다.

소공인 복합지원센터는 동일 업종 소공인 밀집지역에 구축되는 공동 지원시설이다. 소공인들이 고가의 전문 장비를 공동으로 활용할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고, 실무형 기술 교육을 받을 수 있다.

이번에 선정된 성남산업진흥원은 성남시 상대원동의 식료품 제조업 집적지구를, 화성상공회의소는 화성시 봉담읍의 금속가공제품 제조업 집적지구를 각각 지원하게 된다.

선정된 두 기관은 기관당 최대 3억 원의 사업비를 지원받는다. 주요 사업 내용은 ▲스마트 제조 공동장비 구축 ▲장비 활용 교육 및 기술 컨설팅 ▲소공인 네트워크 형성 ▲협동조합 설립 등이다.

이번 성남·화성 센터 구축은 지난해 용인시산업진흥원과 화성시도시형소공인협의회에 이어 세 번째 연차 사업이다. 용인과 화성의 기존 센터는 이미 전자부품, 기계장비 분야에서 장비 가동률과 기술지도 만족도 면에서 성과를 보이고 있다.

경기도는 이번 사업을 포함해 오는 2026년까지 총 8개소의 소공인 복합지원센터를 순차적으로 구축할 예정이다. 각 센터는 지역 주력업종에 맞춘 맞춤형 장비와 프로그램을 운영한다. 특히 향후 평가 결과를 바탕으로 우수 센터에는 장비 고도화 및 추가 지원도 검토할 계획이다.
