오산시, 폭염 대응시설 점검

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 여름철 폭염이 본격화됨에 따라 9일 관내 폭염 대응시설 전반에 대한 현장점검을 실시하며 시민 안전 확보에 나섰다.

이번 점검은 폭염으로 인한 인명 피해를 예방하기 위한 것으로, 무더위쉼터와 그늘막, 쿨링포그, 도로 살수차 등 주요 시설 운영 실태를 꼼꼼히 살폈다.

시는 폭염에 대응하기 위해 실내 137곳과 야외 9곳을 포함한 총 146곳의 무더위쉼터를 운영하고 있다.

또 도심 곳곳에는 고정형 338곳과 스마트형 4곳을 포함한 342개의 그늘막이 설치돼 있고, 오색시장과 버스정류장 등 6곳에는 쿨링포그가 가동돼 시민들이 더위를 피할 수 있도록 돕고 있다. 이와 함께 도로 살수차 2대도 투입돼 도심 열섬 현상 완화에 기여하고 있다.
