[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도와 경기도경제과학진흥원은 지정형 경기창업혁신공간(이하 지정형) 운영기관 6개소를 추가 선정했다고 20일 밝혔다.

지정형은 우수한 창업지원 시설 운영기관을 공모․선정해 경기도가 운영을 간접적으로 지원하는 창업 공간이다. 경기도가 창업지원 시설을 직접 조성․운영하는 거점형 경기창업혁신공간과 협력․보완 관계를 형성해, 지속 가능한 창업지원 기반을 확산하는 것이 지정형의 역할이다.

이번에 선정된 기관은 ▲성균관대학교 산학협력단 ▲단국대학교 산학협력단 ▲한국항공대학교 산학협력단 ▲광명시 ▲(재)여성기업종합지원센터 ▲평택산업진흥원이다. 경기도는 매년 각 기관의 운영 성과를 평가해 지정일로부터 3년간 차등 지원한다.

작년에는 동국대학교 산학협력단(BMC 창업보육센터 운영) 등 12개소의 지정형을 선정해 운영을 지원했다. 357개사 보육을 비롯해 교육․컨설팅․투자IR․사업화․네크워킹 지원 등 다양한 특화프로그램을 제공한 것이 주요 성과다.

특히, ‘바이오․메디컬 분야 특화프로그램’을 운영한 BMC 창업보육센터의 입주기업 ㈜엔테로바이옴은 고용창출 30명, 투자유치 274억 원, 일본 간사이 라이프 사이언스 엑셀러레이터 프로그램(KLSAP) 우승 등 우수한 성과를 창출한 바 있다. 이러한 성과에 힘입어 경기도는 지정형 확대 방침을 결정했다고 설명했다.
