이날 주민자치회 전면 확대, 500인 원탁토론회, 시민공론장 확대 개최 등 민선7·8기 시민 중심 자치분권을 이끌어 오며 이룬 성과와 일상 속 민주주의 실현을 위한 광명시의 미래 전략을 소개할 예정이다.

올해 ‘자치분권 아리랑’은 시민이 1995년 처음으로 광명시장을 직접 선출한 이후 30년간의 지방자치 발자취를 돌아보고, 미래 30년의 발전 방향을 모색하는 자리로 마련된다.
