오산시의회, 정책연구용역 착수보고회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시의회는 12일 제2회의실에서 의원 연구단체 ‘오산시민 생활정책 실천연구회’와 ‘AI혁신도시 전략 연구회’의 정책연구용역 착수보고회를 연이어 개최하며 시민 삶의 질 향상과 미래 도시 기반 마련에 한걸음 다가섰다.

먼저 열린 '오산시민 생활정책 실천연구회' 착수보고회는 연구회 대표인 조미선 의원을 비롯해 성길용, 송진영 의원이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

해당 연구는 오산시에서 위탁운영 중인 공공시설 및 기관에 대한 시민 이용 만족도 실태조사를 통해 문제점과 개선 과제를 도출하고, 시민 중심의 위탁운영 방안을 제시하는 것이 핵심이다. 오산시 인구 증가와 예산 확대에 따라 공공서비스 수요도 높아지고 있는 만큼 보다 전문적이고 투명한 위탁운영이 절실하다는 배경에서 시작된 연구다.

이날 보고회에서는 연구용역 세부 과업 범위와 수행 내용, 향후 추진 일정 등을 심도 있게 논의했다. 용역 기간은 4개월로 오는 9월까지다.

연구는 ▲기초자료 분석 및 운영 실태조사 ▲시민 만족도 설문 및 인터뷰 ▲유사 지자체 사례 비교 ▲조례 및 제도 정비 방향 도출 ▲정책적 제언 제시 등의 방식으로 진행된다. 특히 전 과정이 영상으로 기록돼 연구의 투명성과 공공 신뢰 확보에도 기여할 예정이다.

‘AI혁신도시 전략 연구회’는 디지털 전환 흐름 속에서 오산시가 직면한 고령화, 교통 혼잡, 도시 안전 문제 등 다양한 도시문제를 AI 기반 기술로 해결할 수 있는 전략과 실질적인 모델을 제시하기 위해 구성된 연구단체다.
