[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시가 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술위원회가 주관하는 '2025 길 위의 인문학', '2025 지혜학교'에 통진도서관, 양곡도서관, 장기도서관, 풍무도서관, 마산도서관, 김포시 5개 도서관이 선정되는 성과를 거뒀다.

'길 위의 인문학(일반, 자율과정)'과 '지혜학교(심화과정)'은 우리의 일상생활에서 인문학을 가까이 접하고 공공도서관 등에서 인문 자원을 활용하여 지역의 매력을 발굴· 확산하며, 인문 가치 확산을 통해 국민 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.

김포시 공공도서관은 매년 공모사업 대응을 위한 대책회의를 추진해 도서관별로 차별화된 프로그램을 구상하고, 전년도 참여자에 대한 만족도 통계와 도서관 이용자의 요구 분석을 통해 사업 주제를 체계적으로 구성하여, 이번 사업에 선정된 것으로 평가된다.

공모는 지난 3월부터 4월까지 진행됐으며 ▲사업 추진 인력의 전문성 ▲사업 기획의 우수성 ▲예산 편성의 적절성 등을 평가해 지원 대상 기관을 최종 선정했다.

통진도서관은 ‘축제로 떠나는 세계여행’, 양곡도서관은 ‘치유의 숲, 쉼표’, 장기도서관은 ‘김포의 신중년세대, 조선 오백년 미술의 꽃을 함께 피우다’, 풍무도서관은 ‘나의 첫 책 쓰기 수업’, 마산도서관은 ‘도전받는 민주주의와 성숙한 시민의식을 위한 우리들의 자세’를 주제로 프로그램이 연말까지 진행될 예정이다.

또한 탐방 장소로 강화 전등사, 서울국립현대미술관, 태산패밀리파크, 부천국제만화축제 등이 예정되어 있다.

김병수 시장은 “김포시 최대 도서관인 모담도서관이 5월 10일 성황리에 개관했고, 올해 국내 최대 독서문화축제인 대한민국 독서대전이 김포에서 열리고 있는 만큼 이번 인문학 강좌를 통해 김포시민 모두가 독서시민으로 거듭날 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다.”고 밝혔다.
