[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 한국매니페스토실천본부가 주관한 ‘2025 민선8기 3년차 전국 기초단체장 공약이행 및 정보공개 평가’에서 최우수 등급인 ‘SA’를 받았다고 16일 밝혔다.

이번 평가로 2023년부터 3년 연속 공약 이행 최우수 등급을 받게 됐다.

한국매니페스토실천본부는 지난 1월부터 90여 일간 전국 226개 기초지방자치단체가 홈페이지에 게시한 공약자료를 대상으로 공약 이행 완료, 목표 달성, 주민 소통, 웹소통, 일치도 등을 종합적으로 평가했다.

총 100점 만점으로 환산하는 절대평가에서 광명시는 5개 분야 합산 총점이 87점을 넘어 최고 등급인 SA(최우수) 등급을 받았다. 특히 목표 달성 분야와 주민 소통 분야에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

실제로 2025년 1분기 기준 총 113개 공약사업 중 56개 사업을 완료했으며, 나머지 57개 사업도 차질 없이 추진 중이다.

경기도에서는 광명시를 포함해 안양시, 부천시, 안산시, 고양시, 과천시, 구리시, 남양주시, 오산시 등 14개 시가 최우수 등급을 획득했다.

박승원 광명시장은 “공약은 시민과의 약속으로, 시정의 가장 중요한 출발점이자 기준”이라며 “시민과의 약속은 반드시 지킨다는 시정 철학을 바탕으로 공약을 끝까지 책임 있게 이행해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 변화를 이끌어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 광명시는 공약 이행 평가부터 시민참여를 보장하고 대표성을 확보하기 위해 주민배심원제를 운영하고 있으며, 공약 이행 과정에도 다양한 소통창구를 통해 시민 의견과 평가를 최대한 반영하고 있다.
