[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 가스안전에 대한 모범적인 관리와 정책 추진 성과로 산업통상자원부 장관 표창을 받았다고 15일 밝혔다.

14일 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국가스안전공사가 주관한 ‘제24회 전국 지자체 가스 담당 공무원 정책교육’에서 시는 가스안전관리 유공 지방자치단체로 선정됐다.

제주특별자치도에서 열린 이번 행사에서 용인특례시는 전국 지방자치단체 중 유일하게 가스안전관리 우수단체에 선정됐다. 산업통상자원부는 매년 가스안전관리 담당 공무원의 전문성 강화와 유공자 및 기관에 대한 포상을 위해 ‘전국 지방자치단체 가스 담당 공무원 정책교육’을 개최하고 있다.
