[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시가 사회적 고립청년의 발굴과 지원을 위한 민‧관 협력체계 강화를 위해 ‘사회적 고립청년 지원을 위한 지역협력 네트워크 간담회’를 지난 14일 개최했다.

이번 간담회는 청년들의 정서적 회복과 사회적 재연결을 위한 기반 마련을 위해 지역 내 유관기관 간 협력 구조를 강화하고자 마련됐으며, ▲용인시정신건강복지센터 ▲용인시청소년지원센터 ▲용인시청소년상담복지센터 ▲지역사회보장협의체(처인‧기흥‧수지) ▲용인시정연구원 ▲민간 청년 커뮤니티 등 총 8개 기관이 참여했다.

이날 간담회에서 참석자들은 2025년 시범사업으로 추진 중인 ‘1:1 동행프로그램’의 운영 방향에 대한 설명과 함께 고립청년 대상자를 발굴하고 사례 연계 방안에 대한 다양한 현장의 의견을 나눴다.

아울러 오는 6월부터 시작되는 사회적 고립청년 실태조사 계획을 공유하고 기관 간 협조 체계 구축 방안도 논의했다.

시는 이번 간담회를 계기로 민간 자원과 공공서비스 간 유기적인 연계를 강화하고, 고립청년의 삶의 회복을 돕는 지속 가능한 지역사회 통합지원 모델을 마련해 나간다는 방침이다.

용인시 관계자는 “사회적 고립은 개인의 문제가 아닌 지역 전체가 함께 풀어가야 할 과제”라며 “민‧관이 힘을 모아 고립청년들이 다시 사회와 연결될 수 있도록 정책적·정서적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 용인시는 지난 3월 청년재단과 사회적 고립청년 등 취약청년 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결한 데 이어, 6월부터 8월까지 용인시정연구원과 함께 실태조사를 실시할 예정이다. 오는 7월에는 시민을 대상으로 고립청년 문제에 대한 인식 개선과 가족의 이해를 높이기 위한 특강도 계획돼 있다.
