[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시 중부도서관은 공원에서 책을 읽으며 여유를 즐기는 ‘도서관 밖 북(BOOK)크닉’ 프로그램을 운영한다.

‘북크닉’은 책을 뜻하는 북(Book)과 소풍을 의미하는 피크닉(Picnic)을 합친 말이다.

중부도서관은 도서관에 접한 공원에서 독서와 피크닉을 함께 즐길 수 있도록 시민체감형 프로그램으로 북크닉을 마련했다.

북크닉 프로그램을 운영하는 도서관은 기흥·보라·서농·영덕·흥덕도서관 등이다.

프로그램 참여자는 책 두 권과 피크닉 매트, 테이블, 화분 인형, 무릎담요, 색연필 등으로 이뤄진 북크닉 꾸러미를 하루 대여한다.

또 용인특례시 대표캐릭터인 ‘조아용’을 색칠할 수 있는 컬러링 엽서가 제공된다.

기흥도서관에서 북크닉에 참여한 시민은 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에 참여 인증을 하면 선착순으로 조아용 포토카드를 받을 수 있다.

5월은 가정의 달을 맞아 도서관별로 다양한 북크닉 연계 행사도 이뤄진다.

14일엔 영덕도서관에서 도서관 견학과 그림책 테라피, 북크닉을 결합한 ‘도서관 견문록: 도서관 테라피 나들이’ 프로그램이 진행된다.

16일엔 기흥도서관에서 기존에 당일 반납해야 했던 꾸러미를 최대 10일간 대여하는 ‘북크닉 꾸러미 장기대여 이벤트’를 한다. 장기대여를 원하는 시민은 16일 오후 3~5시까지 도서관 1층 정문 앞에 마련한 특별 대여 부스에서 신청하면 된다.
