[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시 평생학습센터는 지난 2일 한경국립대학교 평택캠퍼스 미래관에서 ‘2025년 장애인 평생학습도시 실무협의회’를 가졌다.

시는 지난 2월 교육부 공모를 통해 2025년 장애인 평생학습도시로 선정됐으며, 총 9900만 원(국비 4950만 원, 시비 4950만 원)의 사업비를 확보해 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 성장할 수 있는 평생학습 환경을 조성할 예정이다.

이번 실무협의회에는 한경국립대학교 장애인평생교육센터, 수어통역센터, 장애인가족지원센터 등 관내 장애인 기관‧단체 실무 관계자들이 참석해 2025년 장애인 평생교육 사업의 내실 있는 추진 방안을 논의했다.

주요 논의 내용은 △평택시 장애인 평생학습도시 사업 공유 △장애인 평생학습 실태 및 요구조사 연구용역 추진 △경기도 장애인 평생교육 이용권 신청 활성화 방안 등이 논의됐다.
