평택시는 이번 공모에서 ‘도농복합도시의 지역 격차 해소 및 기후위기 대응’이라는 지역현안에 기반해, 디지털 역량 강화, 돌봄 인력양성, 환경교육을 포함한 맞춤형 평생직업교육 특화모델을 제시해 높은 평가를 받았다.

주요 추진사업은 ▶청년농업인과 중장년층을 위한 디지털 유통 전문가 양성, ▶고령자 대상 돌봄 인력 양성과 취업 연계, ▶기후위기 대응 환경교육 전문가 양성 및 연계 등 지역문제 해결에 초점을 둔 3대 특화과정으로 구성됐다.
