수원시, 제45회 장애인의 날 기념식·복지박람회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 수원시가 17일 수원종합운동장 수원체육관에서 제45회 장애인의 날 기념식·복지박람회를 열었다.

‘행복을 바라봄, 일상을 담아봄, 희망을 담아봄’을 슬로건으로 한 이날 행사는 수원시장애인복지단체연합회가 주관했다. 행사는 장애인 인권헌장 낭독, 유공자 표창, 축하공연 등으로 진행됐다. 수원체육관 밖에서 열린 복지박람회에서는 장애 인식 개선 사업 등을 홍보했다.

이날 기념식에는 이재준 수원시장, 이재식 수원시의회 의장, 이종갑 수원시장애인복지단체연합회장, 장애인과 장애인 가족 등이 참석했다.

축사를 한 이재준 시장은 “더 많은 장애인이 자신의 역량을 발휘하며 역할을 할 수 있는 사회가 돼야 한다”며 “우리 사회를 바꿔 나가는데 동행해 주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
