[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 수원시 제22기 여성지도자대학이 17일 아주대학교 율곡관 대강당에서 개강식을 열고, 첫 수업을 시작했다.

개강식에는 제22기 교육생과 이재준 수원시장, 최기주 아주대학교 총장, 이성엽 아주대학교 글로벌미래교육원장, 수원시여성리더회 김수민 총회장을 비롯한 임원·회원 등이 참석했다.

수원시 여성지도자대학은 아주대학교 글로벌미래교육원이 주최하고, 수원시가 주관하는 여성 인재 양성 프로그램이다. 수원시에 거주하는 여성은 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

제22기 여성지도자대학은 7월 17일까지 14주 동안 매주 목요일 오전 10시부터 3시간 동안 아주대학교 율곡관 영상회의실에서 진행된다. 여성의 리더십·역량을 강화하고, 잠재력을 발굴할 수 있는 강의로 교육과정이 구성된다. 다양한 분야 전문가가 강사로 나선다.

강의 주제는 ▲미래사회 리더십 ▲세상을 움직이는 여성리더의 소프트 파워 ▲관계와 소통의 심리학 ▲리더의 말하기 ▲작은 변화로 만드는 지속 가능한 미래(ESG) ▲리더의 워킹과 메이크업 등이다.

이재준 수원시장은 축사에서 “수원시 여성지도자대학 수료생들이 지난 20년 동안 수원시 발전을 위해 지혜를 보태주셨다”며 “수원시도 여성이 지도자로 활약할 수 있는 사회를 만든다는 책임감을 안고, 여러분과 동행하겠다”고 말했다.

2004년 개설된 수원시 여성지도자대학은 수원시의 대표적인 여성 인재 양성 프로그램이다. 지금까지 수료생 1199명을 배출했고, 수료생들은 도·시의원, 여성단체 회원, 자원봉사활동가 등 지역사회를 이끄는 여성 지도자로 활발하게 활동하고 있다.

수료생들로 구성된 ‘수원시여성리더회’는 2004년 출범 이후 한부모가정 지원, 수원시장학재단 후원, 저소득층 물품 나눔, 저소득층 중고등학생 장학금 후원, 소외계층 김장 마련 기금 기부, 다자녀 가정 중·고등학생 장학금 후원, 영남 지역 산불피해지원 모금 등 다양한 활동으로 나눔을 실천하고 있다.
