[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 경기도교육청미래과학교육원이 2025 과학의 날을 맞아 교사와 학생을 위한 ‘사이언스 브릿지: 과학으로 여는 신나는 세상’을 운영했다.

12일 경기도교육청미래과학교육원에서 열린 이번 행사는 유아, 초중고 학생, 학부모, 교사 등 1,200여 명이 참여했다.

특히 이날 행사는 과학과 예술, 코딩과 로봇, 환경과 수학 등 다양한 융합 주제로 선보여 참석자들이 과학의 흥미와 가치를 직접 경험할 수 있도록 마련했다.

주요 내용은 ▲창의 상상극장: 과학연극 ‘발사 6개월 전’ 과학 마술쇼 ▲과학 카페: 나만의 커피박 화분 만들기, 커피 속 과학 ▲토요미래산책: 수학으로 바라본 음악, 착시 장난감(조이트로프) 만들기 ▲미래를 만드는 로봇공작소: 레고 코딩(스파이크프라임)체험, 자율비행로봇 실습, 로봇 초상화 체험 ▲야외 창작공방: 레고 열쇠고리 만들기 ▲교원연수: 융합형 수업 나눔 직무연수 5종 등으로 구성했다.

박정행 경기도교육청미래과학교육원장은 “이번 축제는 학생과 도민 누구나 과학을 쉽고 재미있게 접할 수 있도록 노력했다”면서 “앞으로도 학생이 과학을 친근하게 경험할 수 있도록 기회 확대에 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편 경기도교육청미래과학교육원은 다양한 학생 교직원 연수를 포함해 인공지능(AI) 체험교실, 융합과학체험교실, 특수교육대상학생 과학교실, 부설영재교육원(수원, 의정부) 운영 등 교사의 수업역량 신장과 학생의 과학탐구력 함양 기회 제공에 힘쓰고 있다.
