[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 경기도의회 도시환경위원회 유영일 부위원장(국민의힘, 안양5)은 21일 안양시 농수산물도매시장을 찾아 겨울철 폭설 피해 복구 상황을 점검하고, 상인들의 애로사항을 청취하며 도 차원에서의 지속적인 지원을 이끌어내기 위해 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.

이날 현장에는 김동연 경기도지사도 참석하여 현장을 살펴보고 지원대책을 점검했다.

유 의원은 “지난해 폭설로 안양농수산물도매시장이 큰 피해를 입은 것은 시설의 노후화가 주요 원인”이라며 “특별조정교부금을 확보해 노후시설 및 환경 개선사업을 추진중이며, 상인들의 애로사항 해소를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

유 의원은 그동안 안양농수산물도매시장의 노후환경 개선을 위해 ▲노후화장실 개선사업 4억 원, ▲폭설 피해 복구를 위한 지붕 보수 예산 16억 원, ▲시장 해수관로 정비사업 4억 원 등 총 24억 원의 예산을 확보하여 지원하는 등 실질적인 성과를 이끌어냈다.

마지막으로 유 의원은 “앞으로도 안양시 소상공인들에 대한 지원방안을 마련하고 시장을 이용하는 시민들에게 쾌적하고 안전한 환경을 제공하기 위한 사업을 발굴하고 예산 확보를 위해 열심히 뛰겠다”고 강조했다.
