[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 오경희기자] 이천시가 2025년 한 해 동안 취약계층 아동을 위한 ‘행복 두 끼 밑반찬’ 사업을 추진한다.

본 사업은 2024년 8월 행복얼라이언스와의 업무협약을 통해 진행되어 본격적인 사업은 2025년 3월부터 2026년 2월까지 일 년간 이어질 예정이다. 총 50명의 아동에게 주 2회(5일분) 1만 3,200여 식 밑반찬 도시락을 개별적으로 배송하여 지원한다.

‘행복 두 끼 밑반찬 도시락’ 사업은 결식 우려가 있는 아동들에게 균형 잡힌 식사로 건강한 성장을 지원하는 것이 목표다. 이천시는 지역 내 아동복지 관련 기관 및 읍면동 사회복지 담당자 등을 통해 대상자를 선정했다.

이번 사업은 SK에코플랜드와 다래월드의 후원을 통해 운영되며, 도시락 배달은 행복도시락 사회적협동조합이 담당하여 원활한 식사 지원이 이루어질 수 있도록 하고 있다.

김경희 이천시장은 “이번 사업을 통해 우리 지역 아동들이 결식 걱정 없이 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라며 “앞으로도 다양한 민관 협력 사업을 통해 취약계층 지원을 확대해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.
