[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 경기도의회 교육행정위원회 전자영 의원(더불어민주당, 용인4)이 14일 교육행정위원회 소관 2025년도 경기도교육청 주요 업무보고에서 신임 교원 연수비 현실화를 비롯한 학생통학 순환버스 등 주요 정책 추진을 위해 적극행정에 나설 것을 주문했다.

전자영 의원은 융합교육국 업무보고에서 “2024년도 행정사무감사에서 지적했던 학생통학 순환버스 운영과 관련해 교육감이 여러 학교를 통합해 통학 전세버스를 계약할 수 있도록 하는 '여객자동차 운수사업법'시행령이 건의안대로 개정되지 않았다”며 통학이 어려운 학생들을 지원하기 위한 부서의 구체적인 추진 계획을 물었다.

전 의원은 그간 경기도교육청과 국토교통부가 주고받은 공문 제출을 요구하며 “학생통학 순환버스는 한정면허라는 지자체 벽을 넘어야 하고 통학버스는 학교장 의지가 있어야 한다”며 “통학차량 수요가 높음에도 불구하고 학생들이 충분히 지원받지 못하고 있다”고 지적했다.

이어 2025년도 신규사업인 ‘교직원 인플루엔자 예방접종 지원’과 관련해 “꼭 필요한 정책임에도 불구하고 지원 방식에 따라 행정적 부담이 가중돼 좋은 취지가 가려질 우려가 있다”면서 “첫 시행인 만큼 타 시ㆍ도교육청 사례를 충분히 검토하고 예상되는 문제점의 개선 방안까지 고려해 시행착오를 줄일 것”을 주문했다.

다음으로 전 의원은 오찬숙 인재개발국장에게 “신규교사 교직 적응을 위한 임용 전 집중 연수 기간이 4주로 확대됐다”면서 “선배 교사와 소통하며 업무 적응도를 높이려는 정책목표는 타당하지만 연수도 직무의 일환이므로 임금 지급이 필요하다”고 지적했다.
