[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 수원특례시의회 환경안전위원회 채명기 위원장(더불어민주당, 원천·영통1)은오늘 14일(금), 광교중흥에스클래스 입주자대표회의로부터 감사패를 받았다.

광교사색공원은 인근 주민뿐만 아니라 타지역 주민들도 애용하는 산책길로 그동안 노후화된 데크길과 진입로 이용 불편으로 환경개선 사업의 필요성이 꾸준히 제기되어 온 곳이다.

먼저 채 위원장은 사색공원 정비에 필요한 예산 확보를 위해 광교개발이익금 활용을 제안하였으며, 지역구 도의원, 국회의원, 관계부서와도 협력하여 사업추진의 발판을 마련하였다.

또한, 진입계단 설치사업과 노후데크 교체사업이 완료되기까지 사업추진 과정을 꼼꼼히 챙겨 온 공로를 인정받아 감사패를 수상하게 된 것이다.

감사패에는 “사색공원 환경개선사업을 성공적으로 추진하였기에 광교중흥에스클래스 전 입주자를 대표하여 감사한 마음을 이 패에 담아 드립니다”라는 내용이 담겨있다.
