신청 자격은 평택시에 주민등록 주소를 둔 구성원 모두가 1인 가구이거나 2인 이상 자녀를 둔 부 또는 모이며, 관심사가 같은 4~5명이 모여 봉사, 취미, 여가 등의 활동을 하는 동아리면 신청이 가능하다.

시는 6개(1인 가구, 다자녀가정 각 3개)의 동아리를 선정해 오는 5~10월까지 6개월 동안 회원 1명당 월 3만 원 이내의 활동비를 지원할 예정이다.
