평택시 청북읍 현곡1․2리 우수 치매안심마을 지정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 청북읍 현곡1·2리가 2024년 12월 31일자로 우수 치매안심마을로 지정되었다고 밝혔다.

치매안심마을이란, 치매에 대한 이해와 인식을 바탕으로 치매 환자와 가족이 안전하고 자유롭게 지역사회 내에서 살아갈 수 있도록 치매 친화적 환경을 조성하는 사업이다.

지난 2023년 5월 현곡1·2리가 치매안심마을로 지정된 이후 안중보건지소에서는 마을 주민 대상 노래교실·원예교실·요리교실 등 다양한 치매예방 프로그램, 치매파트너 교육 등 인식개선 교육, 조기발견·치료를 위한 조기검진 사업 등을 진행해 왔으며, 운영위원회 간담회 등을 통해 주민 의견을 반영한 주민참여형 치매안심마을 운영으로 치매 인식개선과 치매 예방 활동에 앞장서 왔다.

우수치매안심마을은 △1년 이상 운영 △치매 인식도 조사 실시 △치매 극복 선도단체 및 안심 가맹점 지정 △주민대상 프로그램 운영 등 7가지 조건을 모두 충족 후 신청할 수 있으며 광역치매센터 검토 후 승인된다.
