오산시, 2025년 화장장려금 지원

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시가 2025년부터 오산시민을 대상으로 화장장려금을 지원한다.

시는 관내 화장시설 부재로 인해 다른 지역으로 이동하는 시민들의 경제적 부담을 해소하고자 이같이 결정했다.

그동안 오산시민들이 다른 지역의 화장시설을 이용할 경우, 해당 지역 주민보다 높은 화장료를 지급해 왔다. 이에 시는 시민들의 불편을 최소화하기 위해 조례를 제정, 올해 1월 1일 화장한 경우부터 화장장려금을 지급할 예정이다.

지원 대상은 ▲사망일 현재 6개월 이상 오산시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 사람이 사망한 후에 화장으로 장례를 치른 연고자 ▲사망일 현재 6개월 이상 오산시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 주민으로서, 사산아 또는 출생신고를 하지 못하고 사망한 영아를 화장한 연고자 ▲시 관할 구역 내에 설치된 분묘를 개장해 화장 한 연고자가 해당된다.
