시는 31일 광명아크포레자이위브 아파트 내 초등학생 방과 후 돌봄 시설을 추가 개소했다.

이날 개소식에는 박승원 광명시장을 비롯해 입주자대표, 수탁 법인대표, 유관기관 관계자, 이용 아동과 학부모 등 30여 명이 참석했다.

시는 민선8기 공약인 ‘아이돌봄 걱정없는 도시 실현’을 위해 다함께돌봄센터를 지속적으로 확충하고 있으며, 이번 개소로 총 8개 돌봄센터를 운영하게 됐다.

특히 이번 돌봄센터 공간은 지난 1월 광명시와 광명아크포레자이위브 아파트 입주자대표회의가 무상임대 협약을 체결하면서 무상으로 제공받은 곳이다.

이에 따라 시는 5년 동안 주민공동시설 일부(102.75㎡)를 다함께돌봄센터 운영을 위한 공간을 무상으로 운영할 수 있게 됐다.

광명아크포레자이위브 다함께돌봄센터는 (사)한국커뮤니티연구원이 위탁받아 5년간 운영하며, 소득과 관계없이 6∼12세 초등학생 25명에게 정기·일시보호, 급·간식 및 다양한 돌봄 프로그램을 제공한다. 학기 중에는 오후 1시부터오후 7시까지, 방학 중에는 오전 9시부터 오후 7시까지 운영한다.

한편, 광명시는 오는 12월 중 광명광덕초등학교와 2025년 중 철산2동 생활문화복지센터에 다함께돌봄센터를 추가 설치할 계획이다.
