[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도의회 부의장 정윤경 도의원은 ‘2024년 찾아가는 청소년 독도 디지털체험관’을 현장을 방문했다.

‘2024년 찾아가는 청소년 독도 디지털 체험관’은 경기도와 경기도청소년수련원이 주최ㆍ주관하는 행사로 도내 청소년들에게 독도의 역사, 지리, 생태에 대한 올바른 인식을 심어주고 독도의 문화적 중요성을 알리기 위한 체험의 장으로 올해는 도내 5개 시군(안산시, 구리시, 군포시, 파주시, 평택시)에서 개최된다.

특히, 디지털 기술을 활용해 독도 4D 롤러코스터 등 청소년들과 도민들이 더욱 재미있게 독도를 체험하고 독도에 대한 보전의식을 함양할 수 있도록 구성되어 눈길을 끌고 있다.

정윤경 부의장은 “일본의 독도 영유권 야욕에 맞서 독도를 지키기 위해서는 독도에 대한 바른 역사 인식을 갖도록 하는 ‘독도 교육’이 무엇보다 중요하다”라고 말하며, “독도의 날(10월 25일)을 앞두고 더욱 많은 청소년과 도민들이 독도 디지털체험관을 찾을 수 있도록 힘써달라”고 당부했다.
