[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기주택도시공사는 지난 7일 2층 대강당에서 열린 ‘2024년 경기 더드림 재생 경진대회’에서 부대찌개 등 지역특화상품을 활용한 캠핑용 밀키트 박스 개발 아이디어를 제출한 동두천시 마을관리 사회적협동조합 등 8개 팀이 수상소식을 전했다.

경기 더드림 재생사업은 주민 공동체가 주도해서 지역 여건에 맞는 다양한 아이디어를 제안하는 도시재생사업이다. 김동연 경기도지사가 원도심 재생을 위해 역점을 두고 추진하는 민선 8기 경기도형 사업이다.

이번 경진대회는 주민과 청년층의 도시재생에 대한 관심을 높이고, 이들이 제안한 도시재생에 대한 혁신적인 아이디어를 발굴해 공유하고 확산시켜 실제 사업에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.

공모 분야는 주민 참여와 대학생 아이디어 두 가지로 나눠서 진행됐으며, 예선 서류심사를 통과한 분야별 각 4개 팀, 총 8개 팀이 본선 발표평가 심사를 거쳐 우수 아이디어로 선정됐다.

주민 참여 분야에는 ‘동두천시 부대찌개, 부대볶음, 수제맥주 등 지역특화상품을 활용한 캠핑용 밀키트 박스 개발 및 판매’가 대상을, ‘평택시 꽃으로 물들다, 살맛나는 신장마을’이 최우수로 선정됐다.

대학생 아이디어 분야에는 ‘한양대, 양주시 리턴; 장흥 프로젝트-기억을 찾는 이끌림 휴게소’가 대상을, ‘신한대, 경기미식패스 THE 맛있-G’가 최우수로 선정됐다.

분야별 대상 2개 팀에게는 상금 500만 원씩, 최우수상 2개 팀에게는 300만 원씩, 우수 4개 팀에게는 200만 원씩 총 2천400만 원이 수여됐다.
